We did it!!!

Thank you SO MUCH for making this campaign the absolute best it could possibly be, and as it turns out that is pretty darn good, because in case you hadn't heard, we are...

Over the past 30 days, you have chosen your side, smashed through 22 stretch goals, including three limited edition comics, unlocked stickers, pins, patches, and voted on brand new trading cards to be drawn by incredible G.I. Joe artists including: Rod Whigham, Ron Wagner, Lee Weeks, Paul Pelletier, Carlo Pagulayan, Pat Olliffe, Dan Jurgens, Steve Leialoha, and Larry Hama himself! 

You also unlocked 10 new trading cards in the final days of the campaign! Can you believe it?! You completed EVERY Special Mission and then some! 

Therefore, as a special final surprise for going above and beyond the call of duty, we'd like to reward all of you with one final card, of the man, the myth, the legendary Joe who captured the hearts of 10,000 backers...

Zap Brigade, stand tall! This is your moment! 

But in all seriousness, great work, recruits! Give yourselves a hearty round of applause!

The good news is, your part is (mostly) done. It's time for us to get to work on fulfillment but first we wanted to share some important announcements to help keep the fulfillment side running smooth.

Campaign Close

By now your card should have been charged as the campaign is now closed. If it hasn't, something has gone wrong and you'll need to contact Kickstarter. 

BackerKit Survey 

The BackerKit survey will be going out to everyone in 2-3 weeks.  BackerKit is a different site than Kickstarter so please ensure you're on the look out for our emails coming soon.  This is the stage where you will provide your shipping information, upgrade your pledge, and get any additional add-ons you would like to purchase from the campaign before they are completely gone! You MUST fill out your survey to get your stuff!

For Retailers: This is where you will be letting us know that you have a Lunar or Diamond account in good standing, how many of each item you want, finalizing your shipping, and finishing your payment. As retailers you will have access to acquire the add-ons for your customers at the retailer discount + shipping.  

We will let you know before we send out the survey.  It's extremely important you fill the survey out as soon as possible so we can ensure you are receiving your pledge rewards on time.

Late Pledges

Kickstarter just launched a new feature called "Late Pledges," which allows folks to pledge after the campaign ends at a 10% increased pledge amount. We'll be keeping this feature open until we open up our pledge manager, in case anyone missed the campaign. Tell your friends! But for all official backers, fear not, your base pledge amount is locked in.

Future Updates

Once we send out the BackerKit survey, we will be shifting to posting one update per month. These updates will provide you insight into our progress and help ensure that we have your pledge rewards ready to go!

This is it! 24 HOURS LEFT of this historic campaign! That's right, not only did we have the most funded day 1 ever, we are now officially the most funded campaign in comics Kickstarter history!

In just a few short weeks, you have smashed through 22 (!!) stretch goals and made this campaign one for the record books! So from the bottom of our hearts...THANK YOU! 

We've completed all 22 stretch goals and have taken this campaign to #1 all-time. Take a bow! Just look at everything we've unlocked together. 

And as a special victory lap, we've added 5 SPECIAL MISSIONS goals...more trading cards! The characters were selected based on the voting results, which means Spirit & Freedom / Croc Master just missed the cutoff last time...AND WE'VE ALREADY UNLOCKED THEM! Will Zarana have her day? THIS IS IT! With less than 48 hours left in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero Compendium Set campaign, we cannot thank you enough for how this campaign has turned out. With your combined efforts, we are on the verge of becoming the #1 Comics Kickstarter campaign ever...we didn't think it was possible, and yet, here we are! THANK YOU! 

We are so close to hitting our final stretch goal and unlocking this Larry Hama focused set of stretch goals! Could we hit it TODAY?! Well if we do, don't worry, we've got a few more tricks up our sleeve for the last 24 hours...stay tuned!

WOW! With 3 days left, this campaign has a chance to become the largest comics campaign in Kickstarter history! And none of this could have happened without YOU! For the past few weeks, you have unlocked stretch goal after stretch goal and we JUST unlocked the penultimate goal! And now...THE FINAL GOAL is revealed! 

First, ALL physical pledges will now include this special reprint of G.I. Joe Special #1 that you can't get anywhere else! The legendary Todd McFarlane issue is heading your way! 

And don't forget this comic is also available as an add-on! 

How do I add add-ons? 

What a great question! To upgrade your pledge or explore the add-ons, simply follow the instructions below: 

1. Make sure you’re logged into Kickstarter
2. Click on "Manage My Pledge"
3. Click on "Edit Reward" 
4. From here, you can upgrade your pledge or add-on as many additional rewards as you'd like! 

And if you do, you'll also be helping us make our way toward THE FINAL STRETCH GOAL of the campaign...

Listen up recruits, because of your incredible contributions, we have a shot at becoming the largest comics campaign in Kickstarter history, but first we have to hit the final goal, and in honor of the talented and brilliant Larry Hama, we are bringing you 3 new stretch goal rewards!

For clarity on the bookplates -- when we unlock the goal, ALL physical pledges will be receiving the unsigned Snake-Eyes bookplate above. That's right, whether you backed Joe, Cobra, Compendium One, or the Box set, you will be getting the unsigned bookplate. For those of you who pledge two box sets or two Compendium Ones, they will BOTH come with an unsigned bookplate. And for those lucky few of you who are already getting signed bookplates, each of your Compendium Ones now comes with an EXTRA unsigned bookplate.
